Italy is a (★★★) monarch state that appears in both the 1865 and 1914 conquests. It is a powerful player and normally maintains dominance against other key powers in the Mediterranean in both conquests. Italy draws its power from strong allies and a large military capacity.

A.D 1865[]

Italy starts off cut in half by the Papal States and in its northern half borders France, Switzerland, Bavaria and the Austrian Empire. Its allies are France, the Russian Empire, Austrian Empire, Portugal, Greece, Denmark and Montenegro. Italy's generals are Lamarmora (Infantry), Garibaldi (Infantry) and Augusto Aubry (Navy) Italy's primary goal is to annex the Papal States and neutralize the Ottoman Empire and the British fleet in the Mediterranean Sea

A.D 1914[]

Italy is now whole and now borders France, Switzerland, and Austria-Hungary. Its allies are the United Kingdom, France, the Russian Empire, Portugal, Belgium, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania and Greece. Italy's generals are Luigi Cadorna (Cavalry), Pietro Frugoni (Cavalry), Duke of Aosta (Navy) and Augusto Aubry (Navy) Italy can invade Austria-Hungary or can invade Germany. You could hypothetically invade the Ottoman Empire but that isn't recommended.

A.D 1917[]

Italy looses its border with Germany but gets Turin back. Its allies are the United Kingdom, France, the Russian Empire, Portugal, Belgium, the United States, the Empire of Brazil, Peru, Romania, Montenegro, Serbia, Morocco, Libya, and Greece. Its general is Pierto Frugoni (Cavalry), Luigi Cadorna (Cavalry) and the Duke of Aosta (Navy) Italy should invade Germany and Austria-Hungary as Cadorna is located right in the Austrian Border.
